She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Vail and Katherine Vail (Toler); and her sisters, Beulah Vail, Josephine Vail and Sarah Hundley (Fernando Smith).
She is survived by: her sister Charlotte Keyes (Lawrence); her children, Andre, Leslie and Alison; her grandchildren, Jared and Jadah; and her great grandchildren, Zionah, Elijah and Carmiah. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
She has been a long-time supporter of the American Cancer Society and has guided many through their journey with Cancer.
