She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Futterman and Sylvia Halpern Futterman; her fathers-in-law, Donald Rae and Fred Dooney; and her brother-in-law Brian Dooney.
She is survived by: her husband Kevin Dooney; her children, Michael Dooney, Jason (Deepal Dooney) and Kaitlin (Michael Lewis, Jr.); her grandson Calvin Dooney; her sister Corinne McCormack (George); her mother-in-law Cecelia Rae; and her sisters-in-law, Susan Peterson (Bob), Robin Supplee (Bruce Kenny) and Karen Vogel (Stephen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Karen's memory to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
