With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Fletcher of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on August 13, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fletcher and Rose Fletcher; his brother Frederick Fletcher (Butch); his sister-in-law Valerie Cassel; his brother Raymond; and his sister-in-law Janet Cassel.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Scott Fletcher (Libby) of Haslett, MI and Laura Lynch (Jim) of Kennesaw, GA; his grandchildren, Scott Fletcher (Kaylee), John Fletcher (Jessica), Erin Newland (Dave), Miranda Lynch and Hunter Lynch; his brothers, William (Bill) and Edward Fletcher; his brother-in-law Bob Cassel; his nieces and nephews, Bob Cassel (Laura) of Venice, FL, Ron Cassel (Julie) of Verona, NJ, Chris Cassel (Rosa) of Pequannock, NJ, Coleene Cassel Hartwig (Gary) of Caldwell, NJ and Denise Cassel Ehrich (Chris) of Cedar Grove, NJ; and his great-nephew John. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
