She was predeceased by: her siblings, Diana Kaplan, Annette Penn, Shirley Penn Levine and Edward Penn; and her parents, Herman Penn and Sarah Penn.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Rekant (Debbi), Ellen of Luna and Bruce Rekant (Terri); her grandchildren, Steven (Amy), Daniel (Melissa), Julie (Dillon) and Stephanie; and her great grandchild Lyla.
