It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Ryan- Freeburg (Tinton Falls, New Jersey), who passed away on September 16, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Maureen Connolly, Jean Fitzpatrick and Eileen Banasiak; his sons-in-law, John Connolly, Bill Fitzpatrick and Steve Banasiak; his siblings, John Freeburg, Carol Witmeyer, Nancy Rieger, Irene Wustrow, Billy Freeburg, MaryBeth Kruger and Richard; his parents, Douglas Freeburg, Sr. and Anna (Loy); his grandmother Anna Ryan; and his aunt Muriel Lynch. He was also cherished by grandchildren.
The cause was Alzheimer's, a disease he battled for five years.
