She was predeceased by: her mother Gisella Geiger; her former husband Sidney Gard; her husband Jack Goldstein; and her brothers, Arthur and Lewis Geiger.
She is survived by: her children, Norma (Michael McGarr) of Tinton Falls and Bruce Gard of Ocean; and her grandchildren, Danielle, Lauren, Beth and Steven.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, Barbara's family asks with gratitude that memorial contributions in her name be made to the American Heart Association or Plant a Tree in Israel.
