He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Gitkin Clarin. He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Mitchell (Barbara Clarin) and Peter Clarin; and his grandchildren, Emily, Jacob and Jenna. He is also survived by several extended family members; and many dear friends.
