He is survived by: his friends, Seminary and Harvard University; his wife Roberta Rubien Wedeen; his son Timothy; his daughter-in-law Christine Kavanagh; his daughters, MacKenzie and Tierney Wedeen; his sister Joan Wedeen Blumenfeld; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Blumenfeld (Andrew Nierenberg), Laurie Russo (Robert Russo), Eric Blumenfeld, David Rubien, Andrew Rubien (Christine) and Ascoli.
