In the sacred silence of farewell, Matthew is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Matthew's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patricia Lederer and John Lederer; his daughter Patricia Lederer; his close friend Noemi Leal; his brother Jonathan Lederer; and his uncle Thomas Roberts. He was also cherished by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barrett Leber Funeral Home (148 Dean Dr, Tenafly, NJ 07670). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
