In later years, when Parkinson's took its toll, she found joy in the small things, like walks outside in the sunshine, kisses and cuddles from her grand dog Truman, and holidays spent with loved ones. She kept her mind sharp even as Parkinson's wreaked havoc on her body…she was a voracious reader, devouring everything from Hemingway to Updike to the latest John Grisham novel.
