With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Lee Harnisch of Tenafly, New Jersey, born in Huntington, New York, who passed away on April 12, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Edward Harnisch; and her brother James. She is survived by: her husband Glenn W. Garrison of Englewood; her children, Laura K. Garrison of Washington, DC and Matthew W. Garrison of Yadkinville, NC.; her mother Mercedes Harnisch of East Northport, NY; and her siblings, Susan Beck of Falmouth, MA, Paul of Brentwood, NY, Peter of Colts Neck, NJ, Thomas of New City, NY and Edward of Northport, NY. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks for donations to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund https://www.plannedparenthoodaction.org. Donations can also be directed to the Bergen County Animal Shelter & Adoption Center https://www.co.bergen.nj.us or the Animal Care Centers of NYC https://secure2.convio.net, where she and her family adopted their beloved pets.
