As we bid Kimya farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kimya is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arusyag and Penyamin; her husband Misak Demirci; her brother Artin Yesilcimen; and her children, Nick Demirci and Jilda Hekemian (Richard).
She is survived by: her brother Krikor Hamparsumian. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Armenian Apostolic Church (174 Essex Dr, Tenafly, NJ 07670).
