We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025, at the age of 83, Jeanie D Day of Tenafly, New Jersey, born in Teaneck, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Jay M. Day Sr.; her children, Jay Day, Jr. (Maureen), Doreen Kallensee (Scott) and Jeffrey Day (Mitzi); her grandchildren, Meaghan, Tyler, Ryan, Chris, Paul, Charlie and Katie; her siblings, George Wehrmaker (Susan) and Lynda Wehrmaker; and her children, Stitches, Zack, Casey and Rosie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barrett Leber Funeral Home (148 Dean Dr, Tenafly, NJ 07670). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations can be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge at 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ (https://rbari.org) or to your favorite charity, in memory of Jeanie Day.
