Florence Rakowski Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2021, Florence Rakowski of Tenafly, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Henry; her parents, Anthony Tobia and Norma Tobia; and her sister Doris Arfmann. She is survived by: her children, Susan Medaglia, Steven Rakowski and Judith Bodecker; her children-in-law, Michael, Tina and Chris; her grandchildren, Jamie Cornwell (Medaglia), Lindsey Raphael (Medaglia), Steven H. Rakowski, Madison Bodecker, Brooks Bodecker, Michael Rakowski and Daniel Rakowski; and her great grandchildren, Robbie, Emily and Henry Cornwell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to honor Florence's lifelong devotion to caring for children.
