He is survived by: his wife Dr. Yede Baker Dennis; his son Emmet Dennis, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sheila Estacio Dennis; his daughter Yede-Michelle Dennis; his grandchildren, Dylan and Dani Sofia; and his siblings, Samford, Gabriel, Eric Dennis and Lucinda Dennis McClain. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
