With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jose H Cardenas of Teaneck, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jose shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jose farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Luisa Italia Velez Cardenas; and his son Ronald Gustavo. He is survived by: his children, Teddy Humberto, Monica Iliana, Silvia Azucena, Luisa Alexandra, Hector Fabian, Rodrigo David and Marcia Vanessa. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home - Teaneck (789 Teaneck Rd, Teaneck, NJ 07666). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (115 Fort Lee Rd, Bogota, NJ 07603). A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Garden of Memories Mausoleum (300 Soldier Hill Rd, Township of Washington, NJ 07676).
