He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Higgins. He is survived by: his close friend Abigail Connell; his daughters, Kathleen Higgins (Christopher) and Holly Grebeck (John); and his sisters, Margaret Voutsinas (Spiro), Barbara Maronski (late Charlie) and Patricia Betancourt (Frank).
