Walter P. Vuurens Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter P. Vuurens of Sussex, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Walter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Vuurens and Julia Vuurens; his wife Anita (Sweetman); his daughter Cathy Dianuzzio; and his sister Jules VanOstenbridge.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Vuurens of Sussex and Bruce Vuurens of Lodi; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Daniel, Kaly and Brett.
