He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hickey and Leota Hickey (Talmadge); his close friend Wilma Drake; and his siblings, William Hickey, II, Lotus Sutton and Marion Maellaro.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Decker (Patricia) of Wantage, Horace Hickey (Maureen) of Wayne, Rembert "Allen" Shaver (Virginia) of Glenwood, Heather Mackerley (Ryan Snook) of Sussex and Christy M. Lambert-Alwell (Kenneth Lambert, Jr.) of Hampton Twp; his partner's sons, Jack Wright, Jr. (Alison) of Newton and Derick Wright of Franklin; and his brothers, Horace Hickey of Frankford, Charles Hickey of Pennsylvania, Eugene Hickey of Unionville, Irving Hickey of Wantage and Klaas Hickey (Ida) of Montague. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
