He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McDonald and Evely McDonald (Ebneth); his wife Loretta McDonald; his son John; and his brother James McDonald.
He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Smith; his siblings, Dennis McDonald (Vera) of Toms River, Frank Haak of Hackettstown, Glenda Pepe of Lebanon and Joan Vanderlaan of Clearwater, Florida; his sister-in-law Marge McDonald; his niece Karen Pappalardo (Nick); his great-nephew Nicholas; and his great-niece Kendra.
