He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenore Day and Orville Day; his son Jerry Day; and his great grandchild Sequoia Day. He is survived by: his wife Diane (Jensen); his sons, Daniel (Jean Marie) of Vernon and Jimmy (Lisa); his grandchildren, Matthew (Lauren), Travis McKowen (Tara), Tyler, Kevin, Jason Day, Jenna Day of Vernon, Tabitha and Teal Day of Tennessee; his great grandchildren, Madison, Jack and Grayson McKowen; and his daughter-in-law Darlene Day.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franklin Mineral Museum and the Franklin First Presbyterian Church in Jerry's honor.
