He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold B. Brown and Hester Brown (Matthews); his siblings, Daniel Brown, Harold "Wayne" Brown, Sr., Steven P. Brown, Dennis Brown, Donna Kinney, Susan K. Brown and Karen Brown; and his niece Heather Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Teague); his siblings, Rodney Brown, Darlene Thompson and Nancy Brown; and his stepchildren, Tammy Teague, Shannon Bensley, Jackie Bensley, Bobbi Jo Van Horn and Robert Bensley. He is also survived by his step- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
