In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Fred had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Fred may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Hough and Harriet E. Hough (Van Houten); his wife Betty D. Hough; and his great grandchild Mikalah Rose Price. He is survived by: his children, Allen Hough of Bouckville, Tom Hough (Susan) of Sussex, Kathy Price (Lester) of Whitney Point, Barbara Bowers of Ohio and Karen Hough (Scott Simpson) of Augusta. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pinkel Funeral Home, Inc. (31 Bank St, Sussex, NJ 07461). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Frankford Plains United Methodist Church (99 Plains Rd, Augusta, NJ 07822).
