He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferris Buren and Mabel Van Buren (Slocum); his wife Carol Van Buren (Ford); his son Mark A Van Buren; his grandson Andrew Van Buren; and his siblings, Harrison Van Buren, Ethel Van Buren, Vivian (Frank Sheridan), Doris Van Buren and Eleanor (George Romanos).
He is survived by: his children, Todd VanBuren (Charlene) of Westtown, NY, Stephanie Van Buren of Bellwood, NC, Susan Reddan (John) of Warwick, NY, Jennifer Coon (Ryan) of Saugerties, NY, Kimberly LaFemina (Morgan) of Bloomingburg, NY and Adam Van Buren of Pahrump, NV.; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Christian VanBuren, Mason Reddan, Raelynn Coon and Nichole Darnell. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home (27 3rd St, Sussex, NJ 07461). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
