He was predeceased by: his parents, Eber Lott and Hester Lott (Smith); and his siblings, Celia, Vera and Calvin.

He is survived by: his wife Arlene Lott (Vogel); and his children, Linda Eick (Bryan), Donald Lott (Patty), Gerald Lott (Gale) and John Lott (Brenda). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
