He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen V. Dunn and Eleonore "Lore" Dunn (Schneider); his brother Michael "Mickey" L. Dunn; and his wife Cathy Dunn (Olinger). He is survived by: his sons, Eric Dunn of Annapolis and Mason Dunn (Jennifer Lemongelli) of Wantage; and his granddaughters, Aubree and Charlotte.
