He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Piraneo and Carlo Piraneo; his wife Marie; and his siblings, Frank Piraneo, Lucy Cervone, Virginia Jones, John, Joseph, Louis, Anthony Piraneo, Mary Cinderella and Herman Piraneo.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Caudo (Ben) of Somerset and Nancy Piraneo (Paul Mellen) of Somerset; and his grandson Michael Caudo.
