She was predeceased by: her parents, Ishmael Daughety and Mamie Taylor; her brothers, Benjamin and Milton Daughety; and her former husband Joseph Hawkins.
She is survived by: her child NJ; her husband Willie Ragland; her children, Cornell Daugherty (Adell), Jo-Ann Hawkins and MeLinda Hawkins Taylor; her grandchildren, Mediah, Kenyatta Daugherty, Solomon, Josiah, Jordan Hawkins Taylor, Joelle and Janayah Hawkins John; her great grandchildren, Kenadee Daugherty and Ezuri White; her stepchildren, Marshel Perkins Rowena Murray (Alonso) and Judette Henderson; her goddaughter Aziza Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Daughety and Bernice Hawkins. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, church family members, neighbors, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fountain Baptist Church (116 Glenside Ave, Summit, NJ 07901). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Glendale Cemetery (28 Hoover Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003).
