She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Reynolds and Lois Reynolds; her sisters, Virginia Howarth and Edna Wilson; her former husband David J. Avery; and her husband Stanton G. Gillespie.
She is survived by: her son David R. Avery; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth M. Avery of Pittsfield; and her grandchildren, Charlotte Avery of New York City and William Avery of Pittsfield.
