Bridget Cochario Obituary
Bridget Cochario, of Summit, NJ passed away unexpectedly on December 18th 2023, at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, she was only 43 years old. Her family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death.
Bridget was born on January 28, 1980 in Summit, NJ, the daughter of Julia (née Connelly) and Donald Cochario. She was raised in Summit, NJ and graduated from Summit High School in 1998. Bridget had resided in New York for over 20 years, she had a passion for fashion and art. Her life was filled with many adventures whether traveling across the globe or staying local, she was always making memories. Bridget was a kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Bridget is survived by her loving daughter Gianna Williams, mother Julia Connelly-Cavanaugh, step-father Edmund, brother Donald Cochario and his wife Tara and step-mother Jeannie Cochario. Cousins Meagen Connelly-Kameen, and Colleen Connelly, Aunt Sally York (nee' Cochario), and Nephews Nixon and Silas Kameen, Nieces Frances Connelly and Lucia and Avealina Cochario.
Bridget is preceded in death by her father Donald Cochario, Sr., her partner Leroy Williams, grandparents Salvatore and Albina Cochario, maternal grandparents Stephen and Frances Connelly, aunts and uncles Stephen, Daniel, and Kyran Connelly, Frances O'Gallagher and Joan Squillace. Bridget is survived by many cousins, family, and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, December 29th from 4pm-8pm at Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 299 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 30th at 10:45am, at St. Teresa's of Avila, 306 Morris Avenue, Summit NJ 07901. Livestream is available for those that are unable to attend.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Sharing Network Foundation, 691 Central Ave. New Providence, NJ 07974. A New Jersey organ and tissue donation organization.
