He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Bontempo and Setty Bontempo; his wife Carol Ann Bontempo; his daughter Debbie Lynn Mayes; his daughter-in-law Anne Bontempo; and his siblings, Setty, Amel, Joe and Lucille.
He is survived by: his children, Arthur R. Bontempo, Jr. (Susan), Sue Ann Bontempo (Richard Driscoll), Richard Bontempo and Lucille Bontempo; his son-in-law Peter Mayes; his grandchildren, Peter, Arthur III, Shaina, Carol Ann, Madeline, Natalie, Kristin, Travis and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Devin, Jaelyn, Johnny, Kinley, Levi, Julian, Maia and Jace.
