He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Kominiak, Sr. and Julia Vitek; his wife Marie; his daughter Sue Ann Kramer; and his siblings, Lillian Kayhart and Joseph Kominiak.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Katz (Bobby) of Old Bridge, Mary Lee Faccenda (Gary) of Denville and John J. Kominiak III (Alicia) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Anthony John, Michael, Adam Pumilia, Benjamin Kramer, Nicholas, Allison, Tyler Faccenda, Brianna and Tara Kominiak; and his great grandchild Dominick Pumilia.
