He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dohrmann and Winnie Dohrmann; and his wife Mary Carol McMahon of Brooklyn. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Dohrmann and Gigi Vaccaro (Mark); his granddaughter Maggie; his children, Jennifer Dohrmann and Terry Dohrmann (Tracy); his grandchildren, Mia, Abby, Grace, William and Riley; and his brother John Dohrmann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
