He was predeceased by: his siblings, Josephine Della Sala and Salvatore Aperuta. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Imma Aperuta, Lena Smith (Greg) and Felice Aperuta, Jr.; his grandsons, Christopher, Adam, Eric Weiss and Alexander Aperuta; his great grandchild Jackson Weiss; and his sisters, Pasqualina Fornaro and Marie DiMauro Felice.
