She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Johnson and Karin Johnson; her son Glenn Root; and her son-in-law Clifford Schaefer. She is survived by: her daughter Karin Schaefer; her granddaughters, Krista Schaefer and Danielle McCarney (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Everly and Kinsley McCarney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
