He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph and Genevieve Bewalder (Ryan); and his wife Claudia Ann Bewalder. He is survived by: his children, Charles Bewalder III (Colleen), Alison Moquin (Craig) and Elizabeth Dziura (Brett); his grandchildren, Abigail Bewalder, Parker Bewalder, Ryan Moquin, Caitlin Moquin, Oliver Dziura, Quinn Dziura and Grace Dziura; and his siblings, Jack Bewalder (Ellen), Mary Lyons (Jimmy) and Tom Bewalder (Jeanne).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church (61 Main St, Flanders, NJ 07836).
