He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Lori Schmidt (Chuck), David Sawyer (Toni) and Brian Sawyer (Tina Fort); his grandchildren, Lindsey Schmidt, Alexis Schmidt, Maurice Sawyer, Mason Kuenstler, Sarah Kuenstler, Sarah Patterson and Abby Patterson; and his siblings, Shirley Edwards, Edward Sawyer (Pat), Eric Sawyer and Elizabeth Dennison. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
