He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther (Achille) and Frank DeFilippis. He is survived by: his children, Debora (Kirk Humphreys) and Andrew J. DeFilippis Jr.; his grandchildren, Lisa, Brittany, Sara and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Bradyn, Faye, Colson and Kaiden (Eleanor). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
