He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Barabas of Whitehouse Station and Matilda Barabas of Whitehouse Station. He is survived by: his significant other Raymond Freeman; his son Donald Barabas; and his siblings, Marie Lunden of Orwigsburg, Edward Barabas, Richard Barabas and Irene Calnan of Newton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
