Richard Smiecinski Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Smiecinski of Stillwater, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Clayton Smiecinski and Felix R. Smiecinski; his former wife Diana Smiecinski; and his brothers, Mark and Paul Smiecinski.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia DeFrancesco; his daughters, Marlena Lynn Maier (James) of Wakefield, MA, Carrie Ann Hornung (Andrew) of Allamuchy, NJ and Rebecca Michele Smiecinski (Justin Kramer) of Stillwater Township, NJ.; his grandchildren, Amelia, Adelynn Hornung, Jace and Clayton Maier; his sister Susan Michele Shraim; and his friend Howard Manfra.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (905 High St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd R. C. Church (48 Tranquility Rd, Andover, NJ 07821).
