He was predeceased by: his father Marino Burgos; and his sister Herminia Kosiba. He is survived by: his wife Frances Gely (Sutter); his children, Philip Gely (Jacqui), Jeffrey Gely (Alison) and Franny Latawiec (Jeffrey); his mother Leonor Burgos; and his grandchildren, Cayla, Madison, Philip Jr., Fiona, Finnley, Adam, Alana and Rowan.
