He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Petry and Lela Petry (Pinkerton); his siblings, Robert and Dorothy (Sherron); and his nephew Jonathan.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Petry (Foxbower); his son Christopher Petry (Rita); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Blessing), Lindsey, Jonathan and Nick (Maskal); his great grandchildren, Keith and Sullivan; his niece Jennifer Hiteshue (Sherron); and his nephew James Sherron of Ohio.
