He is survived by: his parents, Wayne Sumi and Maureen Oldenberg Sumi of McCormick, SC.; his wife Susan Murphy Sumi; his brothers, Michael Sumi (Sue) of Somerville, NJ and Derek Sumi (Liz) of Boynton Beach, FL; his siblings-in-law, Thomasina Palmer (Dave) of Annandale, NJ, James Murphy (Michelle) of Nazareth, PA and Robert Murphy (Kristin) of North Smithfield, RI; his mother-in-law Stefania Murphy of Easton, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Chelsea (Ashley Sumi), Ashley (Jake Palmer), Connor (Ryan Murphy) and Matthew (Kylie Murphy).

Memorials may be made in Mark's name to Calvary Community Church.
