He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Jorge Hurtado; and his grandchildren, Isabelle and David Hurtado. He is survived by: his wife Milagros (Aquino); his children, Maggie Matos, Hector Aquino and Vanessa Hurtado; his grandchildren, James, Jennifer, Jacqueline Corbett, Mauricio and Rafael Aquino; and his sisters, Miriam Rivera, Migdalia Borgas, Sonia Arroyo and Nancy Borgas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
