He is survived by: his wife Carmita Mongrella; his children, Diana O'Bitz, Cindy Mongrella, Melissa Mongrella and John A. Mongrella, II; his grandchildren, Regina O'Bitz, Anthony John Mongrella, Emily Mongrella, John A. Mongrella, III, Robert Shaw and Steven Shaw; his great grandchildren, Kyle, Samantha, Hazel and Logan; and his sister Joan Diana.
