He was predeceased by: his wife Joukje; and his son Gerardus. He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Weslowski and Marcella Lemon; his grandchildren, Colleen Prinssen, Christopher Prinssen and Jennifer Prinssen; and his siblings, Rens Prinssen, Willy Dorando, Clasina Orabona, Tea Locarro, Jan Prinssen and Annie James.
