We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2023, at the age of 97, Betty Jane Garrigus of Stanhope, New Jersey, born in Morristown, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Amzi and Anna Marie Savacool (Weisgerber); her siblings, Eleanor Milone and Myron "Ron" Savacool; and her husband Richard Henry "Dick" Garrigus.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Allyn Gugan of Wilmington, Richard Myron Garrigus of Mineola, TX, Susan Ann Matthews of Dolores, CO and David Matthew Garrigus (Janelle) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Robin Erin, Luke (Breanna), Austin and Addison; and also, Charlotte and Asher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in memory of Betty may be given to UUCWNC or Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
