She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Harris and Harriette Armstead Harris; and her siblings, Shelly Harris, James Harris, Herbert Harris, Lucille Ruffin and Vergie Harper.
She is survived by: her child Jimmie Harris-Loften (Roberta); her grandchildren, Yolanda Janette Loften-Sims, Dr. Yancisca Harriette Loften and Yasmine Nicole Loften; her great grandchildren, Akil Loften-Jackson, Khristyn N. Loften, Erick Loften-Harris, Aaron Loften-Jackson, Yaara Loften-Cooke, Amir Loften-Jackson and Illyana R. Loften-Velez; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Belinda Harris-Ramnarace, Demarish Smith, Simona Harris, Salaam Harris and Desmond Ruffin. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Center for Hope Hospice in Elizabeth.
