He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Reaves-Stevens (Craig) and Alishia Reaves; his grandchildren, Maya Merle Ore and Craig Jordan Stevens (CJ); and his siblings, Nellie Cunningham, Alexander Reaves, Jr., Thomas Reaves, James C. Reaves, Carolyn Reaves Woods and Lena Pearl Reaves. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
