She was predeceased by: her son Harvey Alter; and her sisters, Nettie Shapiro, Evelyn Samurin and Pearl Lesser. She is survived by: her daughter Roberta Ferrara; her grandchildren, Stephanie Ferrara and Matthew Ferrara; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin Ferrara and Lucas Ferrara.

Donations may be made to the National Council of Jewish Women or Hadassah.
